Carbon Fiber Hoods

Postby 1BadGetOff » Thu Dec 26, 2002 6:14 am

Carbon fiber looks great and is really light but won't hold up to extream heat and major dings very well. I've had c/f on my sportbike exhaust canisters in the past. I haven't heard of them disintegrating though. ???

:evilbat: Carbon Fiber hoods are made for racing and thats it. They are made to be put on for a race and then taken back off again. :evilbat:

true, but why not just keep it on if the person thinks it looks nice. personally, i love how cf hoods look on black cars. i plan on getting one in the future, but whatever floats your boat. but please get rid of the hood scoop. let us know when you do, i'll feel much better

u know..i'm gonna lose a lotta respect from you guys in this one post..hahah..but i can't not defend the batmobile here! i actually..in a wierd, freaky kinda way...sorta..kind.....like the hood scope

lol...i wouldn't do it to a solara, but just b/c the tail lights are modified, and the rims, and the whole "feel" of the bat cruiser, i think he can kinda get a way w/ it. i really like the side profile w/ the scoop (the front view isn't too hot cause the solara front just kinda looks too wimpy for it) but i really like the side.

well, start attacking guys! j/k

hahah...well, u know..i can't argue w/ u..i do have that strange booth buy attraction :o so i guess my judgement is pretty impaired :P lol.

really tho..i think that's great that he's doing something different..i mean, u have to admit that it's not that bad..i mean, he doesn't have more than one stereo, right! (hahah...when it starts looking like that other car, then we worry  )

batman..i say go for it! if u like it, keep it..don't let anyone make u take it off..if u take it off, do i cause u want to.

ps..i'm luving what u did to the lights.

I'm with missay on this one. I only like the cf on black cars. if it's another color it just looks like some one with a fender that doesn't match.
