Are these the SSR or the Speed Star Wheels (SSW) ones? SSR ones are hard to come by now that they filed for bankruptcy...lemme know if you have a link/hookup for the SSRs if they are indeed the SSR ones.

They are the SSR's. It actually took me a while to get these. I had to go thru a couple of shops to get them And when they found them it was the last set in stock. So i jumped on it right away...

Ah thats a shame...I really wanted these. I just heard SSR got bought up by Tanabe...Hopefully theyll reinstate production of the Forged SSR SP1s, instead sticking with these cast SSW SP1s

Those are some really nice wheels. As I'd like to upgrade the wheels on my own car, I was wondering if you take any special steps in securing them beyond standard wheel locks? Will auto insurance (with a rider, I assume) cover said wheels?

I have locking lug nuts.. its not the type tuner lug nuts you see around. To remove these lugs you need a key for all 5 lugs on each wheel. Without the key you can't do anything. Other then that i have a 2 way paging alarm and plus the car is always in the garage.
