LOL about you chewing out the old lady. I'd be jumping up and down like an organ grinder's monkey.

1st of all, It's good you're Ok and that you're not in jail for cramming her coke bottle glasses up her rear. :D

It's time to see what you can get away with.

Talk to a couple body shops and get estimates that quote a replacement TRD body kit. Don't let the estimater for her insurance talk you out of it.

You may be able to come away with a matching paint body kit (I believe you posted earler about painting it to match?) or perhaps some light body work. (Need rolled fender lips?)

Don't feel guilty about working the system. Grandma pays a fraction of the insurance costs we do and it's their group causing the accidents. (A result of AARP's strong influence on the insurance industry.) Remember, you'll be inconvenienced for a few days while your baby is in the shop. (Enjoy cruising in that loaner Ford Escort the body shop will give you.)

Im pretty sure insurance wont cover the body kit...or anything after-dealer unless it was appraised by the insurance co. with it on.

I doubt it was since he got it not to long ago.

i went to a body shop in corona... a close friend of my dads... and he estimated about 1800, for it to come outthe same.the trd kit does not need to be replace... just buffed out so the black mark goes away... its not broken nor messed up. but the 3M tape will have to be replaced on it.... neway, i aint gonna be able todo nething before the police report comes. hopefully soon.

Dayam, sorry bro!
Check this place out, I went here (which is pretty local for you) when I got in my accident and they do bomb azz work. They work on a lot of custom show cars. My insurance wasn't covering my kit and body work, but the shop was cool and was able to do it anyway...
