It's different but not my cup of tea. ;) Everyone has a different idea for what they want for their car. My car is a daily driver so many of the mods I have done to my car are not to impress people...but to keep myself content with performance and satisfaction. I bought my Greddy Evo because it maximizes the performance of the 1MZ-FE, I don't really care for the size of the tip or the canister...but honestly it hardly stands out when it's sitting under the car. I have Tokico struts and Eibach springs because I wanted a firmer ride but enough for me to drive daily with. The stance is good enough that I don't have to worry about scraping or going bouncy on even very flat smooth roads. I will eventually get JIC coilovers later down the road. My car is a daily driver, not a show car...but good job to those who want to make their car different. I care about performance, not so much for asthetic looks. Do I thiink flames and hydros belong on a Solara? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is that those things don't belong on a Japanese branded car. Reserve the flames for older American cars and the hydros for the 64 Impalas.

My $0.02. ;)

In NJ we have been getting snow flurries on and off for the past week. I'm dreading putting back my stock 16" wheels with snow tires :(

Personally, I don't like the hydros... but your car's flames look nice!

I remember seeing something very scary once... a hydro'd 96 accord...

now i've seen it's arch enemy... the hydro'd solara
1GR-FE ftw!

though this may be a different cup of tea for everyone, i think hyrdos on a solara are cool. Not for some of that fancy foot/wheelwork i saw but for basic suspension height management. Yeah, i do like how low my car looks with the sprint springs i got, but the flipside is, when i carry 2 pple in the backseat it sags too much. It would be nicer if i could adjust the height anytime i want. I live about 4/5 miles from prohopper and thats exactly where am gonna be going today to ask then for opinions on hydros.

Anyone know where i can get that code starter thingie that guy in the movie "the transporter" has?

That's your problem...sprint springs are known to sag too much. Hydraulics really wouldn't be your answer because you will only lose the comfort and stability of your car. True coilovers would help remedy your sag problem in the back.

I'm with flip, the whole idea of having coilovers is having height control.
