Most havent seen it,but here are some pics of the car from NOPI last weekend. I was lucky enough to take home 1st Place Camry/Solara Street against Rene's Solara. It was more fun to hang out with the club than it was to get the award.
Should have been there Michael !!

Axas Rev Indicator
This unit displays engine speed on a small module via four LEDs. You can dial in when you want each light to come on. I have teh first green light to come on at my most optimal early shift point to help save gas. The other lights come on at different points. The red comes on at about 5800 RPM so I can shift at near max power, but w/o hittin the rev limiter or boost cut. The indicator works by reading fluctuation in system voltage as sensed through the cigarette lighter, which the unit plugs into. I hardwired mine. Its not as precise as icking up a signal from the ignition, but it get the job done in a small discrete package. I still need to bury the wires.

IMHO its a big help to keep off the rev limiter and and to stay in boost as much as possibe when needed.

Its not good for your car.. Try having a motor spinning at 6200K RPM and all the sudden no more fuel is feed to the cylinder. Imagine how stressful the engine will be choking with no energy to put it back to rest.. Want to know how painful? Go on the highway at high rpm and all the sudden turn off your car... Thats what it feels like only the engine is still on...

Other then that I try to advoid anything pass 5K now.. Screw racing and all. My cars dying slowly if I keep pushing it.. Time to be old .

What I have learned since I've installed the SC is that things happen very fast after 3k RPM. Also tha car isnt loud so merging on the highway in second, then you punch it. Well the next thing you know ...HELLO 6k.
The indicator helps me keep my eyes on the road and focus on traffic.
You have to rememeber when merging on the highway the average driver is not going to expect a Camry to be there so quickly. So its my reponsibilty to make sure I can judge correctly.

I was getting about 350 miles out of a tank of gas. Lately I'm getting nearly 400 again with mixed city/hwy driving. After a couple refills it wil pay for itself !!
