Are your hoses routed direct from tranny to cooler, meaning the car radiator is out of the loop?

Looks good.

Humm you might want to reconsider that. I had mine that way at first but I later made the change.

There are two schools of thought. One can be found here, I won't make you search. 8) (Where's Milt??)

http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php? ... er+install

The other focuses along the same lines except the intent is remove as much heat as possible from the engines cooling system a well. This line of thought leans toward a direct tranny to tanny cooler routing and that's what AMS recommeded and have chosen.

Anyone else want to speak on this?

So should i bypass the stock one...?? that thread didn't really answer my question as to weather what the pro/cons of having it installer a certain way...

I was told to install it:

1. Tranny Outhose into stock ATC cooler
2. Stock ATC cooler to External (aftermarket) inlet ATC cooler
3. External ATC outlet back to return line of Tranny (inlet)

is this the correct way to do it... ???

your response is greatly appreciated
kenny

i installed them in series also. You wont get enough cooling power for the Trans with just the tranny cooler. they are designed to be extra protection. atleast thats what i was told.

of course, it depends on the cooler you got, how big?

I'm not sure, if i installed on the right on.
Thought the right one was the cold side.
But if i installed it wrong, oh well at least it workin' i hope.
I've already asked people which one it was people say the cold is the right one.
SOme say the left is the cold side.
So i went wit the right tube.
