it would be very hard to cut the back part (for the fender flares so i can fit some beefy tires) b/c of the gas tank. so that was my first damper in the process. the second was that i would have to change the fuse box and relocate it somewhere so that the headlight would go in all the way..its too much work and too much headache. i havent had my car in over 2months now and have been driving my moms van  ill post pics of the somewhat finished product sometime today. maybe if i think of something or some of you guys can help me out w/ some ideas i can keep going w/ the project....otherwise, back to stock. sorry to get your hopes up guys.

after investing all that time and money into the car, how can you just decide to go back to stock in the middle of the project?!

whatever you decide to do, good luck

adding anything to the car that isn't designed for the car specifically takes time and money.

We've seen all the supercharged solaras that are relatively easy to make... then we see turbo charged ones (joseph's 5S) and we see a lot more money and time invested because no one has taken that route (well, not that many people) before and he had to learn from his mistakes.

I think there was one guy in Texas that successfully put in a set of S15 headlamps but he did a full custom job... which cost a lot of time and money.

It's your call to do what you must with the car, but just keep in mind that time + money = exclusive components. Money by itself will usually yield different yet similar results. (I think you know what I mean)

So ya... good luck w/ going back to stock... it'll be a bitch too x_x
