The 240 is running pretty well- I've got the timing close to dialed in, but not quite dialed yet. It is also idling very low at the moment, but some friends are coming out this week to help get the base map a little better (very rich right now) and smooth the idle out. Other than that, I just need to throw the BOV in and get it ready to go on the dyno for a tune. Here are some pics from last week when I washed and drove it for the first time since the rebuild started nine months ago. :)

Baller grandpa, lol:

Looks Fantastic! All you need is a hood.
Also, it's a lot cooler than your bro's new ride. :sweet:

lol, thanks guys. The Mini is actually really cool... it has the JCW package with all of the optional JCW accessories... moves out pretty good! The supercharger whine reminded me of the Solara, brought back good memories haha.

I have the hood in the garage, but it is way easier to get to everything in the bay while tuning and setting it up with it out of the way. It should be tuned by early next week- I'll post the numbers and some pics then!

Oh yeah, those Minis are pretty quick and handle like mad too.

How much boost will you be tuning at?

Probably at 14 psi, but we'll see. My turbo still isn't very big and doesn't support much more than that. Should be good for a solid 300whp+, though.

Not sure about the typical drop on a Solara... I am not even sure I have ever seen anyone put gen 3 Camry 4 cylinder springs on a V6 Solara before, haha. I think the front should sag a bit since the springs are for a 4 banger, so hopefully it will end up being pretty even- I'm sure it will be a mild drop, though, sadly.

Well, the car was tuned on Tuesday night and put down 347whp at 14 psi. I have been daily driving it at 10 psi, which put down 310 whp and 274 wtq. My solara was dynoed at the same shop when I first installed the supercharger and put down 213 whp. Needless to say, I am pretty happy with the numbers! :)

I'll post some more pics soon...
