As most of you know, my car has been in the shop for a while getting the engine (5SFE) rebuilt with forged internals, ported and polished head, 3 angle valve job, etc etc etc. The cylinder head is still being ported and polished, but my bottom end is complete. In the pics you can see the new 5S block, new water pump, forged CP Pistons (8.5:1 CR). These are oversized pistons, so the block needed some work to accept them. Inside, Crower connecting rods bring it all together. Motor should be complete in about a week once we get the head back which we have no idea how long it will take. Here are pics so far:

My engine builder Jacky is a really funny guy. When I asked him how it all worked out when he installed the stuff he replied, "I dont know, I havent stahted it yet. Hahaha!" I love that guy... Only time will tell how it works.

Thats kind of hard to say... Basically on a fully built motor, manual tranny, and boosting at a reliable 15 psi and with proper tuning I hope to be hitting as close to 300whp as possible. With everything that is going into this motor, Ill be able to run up to 25 psi all day long with no problems. The only thing holding me back is that a stock CT-26 is limited to about 16-17psi. Mine has upgraded internals, but even 20 psi will probably be a little too much for it to handle. Still, 15psi should be plenty of boost.

Huge horsepower isnt really a priority with this car. Perfect balance is more what I am going for since it is being built as a road racer.

300whp + 2500lb car + forged 17x8 Gram lights + staggered super grippy 245 front, 235 rear Toyo RA-1 tires + negative camber + coilovers + full rollcage = GOOOOOD TIMES!
