GREAT work man!
But...do you plan on doing anything with the obviously darker headlights as far as the clear corner light is concerned?

Did you custom the headlights, or is someone making and aftermarket set now? If you went the DIY route, what did you use to coat the inside?
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

well sawzall rulez should give it away.

those headlights are from the 00-01 camry. mine is a 97. they wernt hard to retrofit as i thought, but no amatuer without a bit of electrical knowledge should try to do this..
ill post a diy later. i still havent hooked up the actual lights (9006/9005 low/high)

as for the clears they are gettin pulled apart as soon as i find someone willing to do it for me. i tried on 2 sets of corners and the plastic rubberized making it impossible to pull apart. if someone has done custom clears, wanna pull mine apart for me. ill mail it and pay for it. (ill do the painting of course.

Your cars' looking great. quick questions:
1. i know gen 4s and gen 4.5's headlights are totally different..i don't really want to change the headlights+corners+fenders+front bumper cover...how much of wire spicing and etc did that gen 4.5 headlight entail..and how much of a gap would it be for keeping the rest OEM.
2. OR would you recommed doing a gen 4.5 lense over a gen 4 headlights (ie. clear lenses over what was a textured headlight).

Here's my ride, so that you know what i'm talking about!

okay to answer most or all of the questions.
the gen4/4.5 is not completely different, but they are different enuf for you to need a sawzall and a drill.
the best way to do the cutting is to cut a lil bit and check. do it repeatedly until you get your best results. also keep your OEM mounts for the inside (to aim the lights) i learned the hard way so its damn hard to aim. the outer edge ones you cant swap over since the housings are different.
the fenders dont need to be replaced i did mine since i was in an accident.
you will need a 00-01 front bumper. sorry no way the 97 wll fit without looking odd.

as for the wiring i mikey moused it. i kept the OEM plug (9003/h4) just to be able to go back to stock and bought 2 9005 aftermarket plugs and 2 9006 aftermarket plugs. what i did then was tap into the plug sockets. if you look at the 3 prong setup keep one on the top and one on the left and right. trial and error was the way i did it. i pluged in into each socket (only 2 at a time to test) to see which one lit up the highs and lows. i should also note that when the highbeams are on your low beams are off (as it is witht he regular gen4. if you watn to eliminate that, you will need to replace the ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS!!! about 1k quoted at the dealer.
ill get pics up when it clears up on the wiring of it.
