just to answer most questions:

1. it was a minor accident ( hood flew up and broke windshield i drove over some road debri)

2. STATE FARM did not want to pay the 5000 in repairs the body shop estimated to paint and replace hood and stuff ...so they deemed the car a Total loss because of the age and high miles KBB value is only 3500.

3. there was old frame damage from prior accident, and the KYB struts were begining to fail.

4. only the drivers side was scraped, it is not cracked, but i would recomend a nee touch up on paint.

5. the headlight covers are snap on covers that go over the headlight. and make it look tinted.

i also have a YAkima roof rack system made for the Solara with 2 -bike connectors..shoot me your offer.

oh BTW i work for State Farm insurance and they are the best..they WILL NOT lowball you with Kelly Blue Book BS. they will look for 3 for sale cars in your are and match thr HIGHEST prices one.. SO KBB said 3500 for my car..State Farm said 6400. Im happy.! i got the cash..will miss my gen 1 i took me from LA to Camp Pendelton for many years and was fun to get looks from ppl whodid not know what car it was ..some one said one Is that A NEW 2 door AUDI? ROFLing most of the parts and knowledge about Modding i got here from other sgers..who have moved on. RIP.
