Final lowering advice

So I finally found a friend who knows what he's doing that will install for $50 for me (as opposed to the $1000 Toyota Of Orlando wanted  ).

I am going back and forth between the Tein springs and the TRD. I want to look more into how tall my tires are to decide which... anyone have any personal experience? I plan to keep this car for AT LEAST the next 3 years, and it will probably still stay in the family after that (I think my dad would LOVE to buy it back). So I want the springs to last a while...

Also, do I need strut bushings? Someone recommended that I get them. Toyota said that I would be ok either way, but would also recommend putting them on because I plan to keep the car so long.

Where is also the best place to order these springs? I am assuming this is what my mom will be doing for my bday present... if not I will be delaying the spring purchase till I have more money to spare.

Thanks :)

At the moment I am trying to get a job, so I am kinda worried about ordering them... I should have a job this week so I will order it this week then find time to go to Orlando to do the install with my friend.

Though I have a feeling ill order them either way... I am good financially for this semester.... don't know about next lol (if I don't get a job).

When the lowering is done, set up a SG meet at Albertsons or something so I can shop for cake mixes as well.

We will have to make sure to invite some idiot to do donuts in the parking lot as well... lol

Or we could meet up at Turkey Lake Park where the speed bumps are big enough to bottom out low cars... like what happened at the VW meet the other weekend that was held there. There was many cars that had to be pushed over speed bumps or pushed because they got stuck in sand.
