Anyone here have any experiences with the Gen 2 Camry (87-91)? My old 91 V6 LE is at home, I couldn't stand it because it had transmission problems (the result of an old lady driving it in downtown traffic for 110,000 miles). Has anyone else had issues with their tranny slipping near redline, or bouncing from 4th to 3rd because it's "confused"? If so, what'd you do to fix it? We tried having the tranny rebuilt but that just made things worse.

LOL, it's sitting in the driveway at home. It gets driven to the grocery store once in a while... she's retired.

I don't recall tranny prob's for gen 2 camrys, just get a tranny from a junker. If your v6, then es250 tranny will also mate with your gen2!
