I figured I'd start a new thread... This will be the thread for the first official twin turbo Camry. It's safe to say that it will be running probably by tomorrow or MondayAll is left are fluids, a few clamps on the charge piping, connect the turbo oil lines (I left them out for priming reasons) and charge up the battery!
To find pics of during the build, visit my other thread on this link:
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=279427
There are still many small touch-ups I will be doing though... I will be adding some heatshields for the turbo, paint touch up for the firewall and shock towers, and perhaps polish the upper charge pipe as well.
Feel free to ask questions.. If you see something that you want to know what it is, etc... just ask![]()

Underbody -- downpipes and dual 2.5" Exhaust. The muffler you see is not just a regular muffler, but it is the Dynomax perforated "X-pipe" which equalizes the pressure from my unequal lengthed downpipes:

Exhaust -- Dual 2.5" is roughly the total flow capacity of a single 3.75" exhaust. I did the dual pipes for maximum ground clearance, noise cancellation and also to match the dual inlets of the Supra TT muffler I am using. The car is going to be stock-like quiet, but free flowing well up to 500 WHP.

Here's a pic of my custom airbox... It's there to give it a slightly stealthier look, to keep the car more legal with the local police (open air filter is a $280 ticket here), and also gives a nice clean apperance. .. This is a pic of the lid CLOSED:

I think either tomorrow or Monday, I should have a video of it starting upShortly after that, the Camry is going straight to the dyno. You can't beat the convenience when the dyno is literally 5 secs away

I didn't have time to polish up the engine bay, so I don't have pictures of the setup yet... I did manage to shoot a few small clips of the HKS T51R Camry doing some 1st gear rips back and forth however...
Engine was revving to 7200RPM on the video... Soon I will be taking it to 7500RPM..haha The engine still continues to make power up to 7000RPM, so the gearing is pretty long now. 1st goes to 85km/h and the end of 2nd goes to 140km/h, and it pulls really well
