Gen 6 Camry V6 coil/plug replacement (the easier way)
My wife's Gen 6 SE-V6 had a bad ignition coil (Coil A aka cylinder 1) which is located in the left bank (firewall side). Typically when replacing coils or plugs on the left bank, its required that you remove the intake manifold/plenum in order to access them. Removing the plenum is more work than most DIYers are willing to take on, so here's a quick and easy way to gain access through the cowl instead.
1. Plastic engine cover removed (if you cant get that off, dont bother reading the rest - take it to a mechanic
)

2. Remove wiper arms (14mm)

3. Remove 1 plastic phillips retainer screw from each side of cowl cover (near hinge) and remove cover

4. Unplug and remove wiper motor (four 10mm bolts)

5. Remove four 10mm bolts from inside the cowl, two 14mm nuts from the top of each strut, and remove entire cowl

6. Done. Now you can access all 3 left bank cylinders

Please note that Coil A (cylinder 1) has a bracket covering the top of the coil and it is necessary to remove this to replace the coil or plug. There is one 12mm bolt on the plenum and one 12mm bolt on the cylinder head, then the bracket comes off (sorry no pics).
Hope this saves someone some time and money!
