2007 Toyota Camry TV Ads

Found two 07 Camry commercials. Not too bad IMO. I still wish Toyota would make their ads as creative & fun as Nissans.

I have never seen those two Camry commercials. The first one took WAY too long to get to the point, don't see how it would capture anyone's attention.

They are boring.. :D

still aiming the older crowd...

and about the maxima - i hate the f'in adds..they r on every f'in 15 minutes. it pisses me off

and the hell is with that CVT add where the girls putting on make up. Help me out here - i know what CVT is -i believe its all one gear correct? so how the hell do they show it go up to 4000RPM after 5 seconds in the car- it better be doing 100+mph to be at 4000RPM~~

correct me if i'm wrong

Not one gear, but infinite gears. No hard shift, just stays in the torque range for max power, or max fuel effeciency all the time after you get up there at the initial ratio.

It will hop up to 4000RPM about the same speed as 1st gear in any other car, but then stay there as you go faster. Its kind of weird the first time your in a CVT because its not revving any higher, yet your going faster. My first experience was a test drive in a Murano.

The CVT concept is great, in most cases quicker than an auto or manual plus shifts are nonexistant. I dont like the ad because the nissan engine makes noise like it should be pushing the car past 130 but it is traveling at closer to 40. Probably exaggerated for demonstration purposes, but it would be very annoying if the engine really winds out like it did in the commercial.
