Why did you make such a large hole? Wouldn't it have been better to lake a smaller one? Just curious.

The hole is actually smaller then it looks in the pic. It's only like 3/4". It is JUST the right size to fit the antenna.

hey good job. you should have just left the original antenna there....just cut the power to it. that way there isnt a hole to fill...

^ It would look bad that way. I had both of them on at the same time and just looked at it and thought, needs to go. This way is a MUCH cleaner look.

That's actually worth considering... Reception is crap, I'm pretty much sick of my CD collection and when I was tinting the windows, that was the only reason I left the dot matrix there (which that area is kinda grayed out).

It was easier to do then I though. Yuo DO need a 12V wire for the antenna though.
