Toyota will field it's Camry model in NASCAR for 2007

First of all wrong area dude but anyways I love the idea but I hate it too. I love it cuz I love toyota and I think it's awesome for another car make to be in there. It sucks because now it's only a matter of time before honduh gets in there so they're not shown up.

Thanks for looking out for me. I was trying to decide whether to post in in the general discussion, racing or Camry forum. We were discussing whether Toyota would race Camry's, Solara's or Avalon's when we first heard Toyota might enter NASCAR Nextel cup racing. The racing forum is more about street racing but the people would certainly be interested in an 800 horsepower Camry. Since this forum states it's everything about the Toyota Camry I don't think it's the wrong forum but maybe not the best one. Which forum do you think would be the best for it?

I think it is fine here. Obviously no one else is flaming so it must not be as big of a deal as you are making it. The only other area would be the general talk or rumors board but no one is going to get pissed if it is here. The camry section doesn't get enough action the way it is!

i think this is the perfect area for that forum. and i also think its badass to have a camry in there. what i would do for an 800 hp camry. one day, one of us here on this camry forum will be the driver of one of those in one of the races. one day.

i am more interested in what kind powertrain system they gonna put in there. I drove a 04 camry few weeks ago for a week, it is impressively smooth and comfortable.

what the hell? There isn't a two door camry anymore! NASCAR was dumb enough...now it's just gotten loony! Maybe if it was the same as the original NASCAR...I dunno...not a fan though.

Was there ever a 2 door taurus? its been in nascar for a while. It will be replaced by the ford fusion, another 4 door. how about the dodge intrepid...still a 4 door and it is being replaced by the new charger...only made in a 4 door. The monte carlo is the only true 2 door in nascar anymore. Where you been?
