Well how the hell do i know how ur viewing the site? and apparently this crap is in the gen 2 section and anyone with a little common sense would stop to look at that and assume its for the gen 2....but as i have been reminded over and over on this board, common sense isnt so common.

well, first of all, thanks to mike for posting this for me.
and I'm looking for Gen2 RSB.

here is the story.
i am on my way traveling on my solara from ohio to san francisco.
Today, while i was driving on I70 from Denver CO to Salt Lake City UT, sudenlly i felt something a little weird.
I got off the highway and stopped at the gas station and take a quick look around the car.

and here i found my TRD RSB broke off from the big bend after the straight section. (you know if you have seen the RSB)
i have no idea how it could happen, but from what i see, it does not look like i hit anything.
i'm guessing it should be from excess stress.

anyhow, since i dont have any tools, i got a good old duct tape, and hold the broken piece, so that it won't banging around other parts.
i drove about 200 miles after the quick duct tape fix, and seems to be okay so far....

i will be in SF till sunday morning, so i think most likely i will wait till i get back and get a new TRD RSB.

however, if anyone has gen2 rsb, please let me know...

Thanks.

Tact,

I've got the stock RSB that you can have for now for free; all I ask is that if/when you get another TRD RSB please send the stock one back (but not if it costs too much to send); if you decide not to get a TRD one, please feel free to keep it.

I live in Hayward, which is about 30 miles from SF and I work in SF (but I take public transportation to work). I will also be in SF Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Unfortunately, I don't have any means (tools and garage space) for you to install the RSB in SF. Just let me know if you'd like to meet up in Hayward during the week or in SF in the weekend.

To make a long story short, I made several calls to you Norcal/Socal peeps...it's a good thing I still have some of these numbers after all these years of being on the forum.

Tried to call David (trdkamuri51o), but figured he was busy at work.

Called Kenny and he was going to check with Mark, but again I knew that you guys were in the Southern area.

Called Milton, which offered his fiance's stock RSB, but we knew that it was too much hassle to ship. Milton got me Van's (iinokturnolii) number in the Norcal area, which tried to get his buddy to get a TRD RSB for Tact, but Tact decided to wait til he got back home.

Pmed Chung (cklinh) and...well, you guys saw his response.

Anyhow, I really appreciate all of the SG member's help in these times. Time and time again, that's why I LOVE this forum and I'm sure many will agree.

I'm sure Tact will keep you guys posted once he makes it to the Bay area.

Have a nice day!

Thanks a lot.
i really appreciate everyone's help.

I think i can install the rsb without lifting the car.
it will be tight but i could squeeze in to duct tape.. ^^;
and it won't be any problem to find allen wrench and socket wrench, and that would be all i need.

anyways, I will send pm my number, since i won't be online after i leave this hotel...

Thanks!

I got SF and arrived at my GF's friend's house.

again, I can't thank enough to all of you for the all the help here.

so if it is okay with you guys, i would like to take the kind offer from Chung, and David.
So far, the best time for me would be Saturday.
but if other day would work out better, I can talk with my gf and her friend, and make myself available.

I will send my phone number to you via PM.
please give me a call anytime and if i don't pick up, please leave me a message. I'll call you back asap.
