Looks good except for one issue. It's facing the wrong way. For staging purposes you want it pointing more towards the passangers instead of firing across the stage. If it's not finished, i would sugest angling it towards the rear of the car as much as possible, you'll get a bit of a crisper sound outa the tweeter and the mid range.

SMAN:

not true. I had double stick tape all over the car when I was trying to find the correct position. what you are saying is correct for kicks but this is where it sounded best and stable. also, Im not sure if you've ever heard dynaudios, but even with the strange placement that they are at, they image and sound phenomenol.

kickpanels are custom from my installer who did cklinh and my sub box.
It raining in so cal , so I will post more pics as it drys out.

cheers[/quote]

Can't wait to see more pics... interesting placement for the mids too.

I was thinking of having someone design some special placement for speakers in my convert so that I get full-range sound with the top up or down. Those kicks just might do the trick.

I ended up paying 450 for both the A-pillars and the kick panel.
The A-pillars are wrapped in black vinyl and the kick is sprayed
to match the car as much as possible.

The kick was made for my dynaudio md142...

http://www.dynaudio.com/eng/auto/esotec/tech_md142.htm

the speaker itself is somewhat shallow. so if anyone is interested, find a speaker and Ill ask him how much. also, if there are a few of you whom want something like that, maybe I can talk him into a group buy?

pxl...depends on how big of a speaker u want to go. we considered
a 5.25 but it stuck out a whole lot.

cheers

You wouldn't want much more than what you have for mids in a car anyway - looks like a great setup! Wish I could hear it sometime.
