2007 solara convertible, double din install ?

has anybody had experience installing a double din unit such as the pioneer avh-p6800dvd ..... crutchfield does not list this unit as compatible with the 2007 solara.

they have a lot of things that say it wont work, but they usually do
its like they need to update their database

i've been out of the audio/video market for a couple of years. Do they make a dash kit compatible with a double din? the last i knew, it was a single with a storage pocket that was way too skinny to get my hand in.

oops, sorry ..... buddy here, in sunny south florida. proud owner of a 2006 taco and a 2007 coalra convertible sle.

do u mean like the frame thing that would go around the navi?
if thats wat u mean then they do, someone posted a pic in this section somewhere

Anything compatible with 2004+ Solara will fit your dash just fine.
