I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I'm installing an AVIC-D3 in my girls 2006 solara soon and I had a couple question. I tried searching for some answers but didnt find all that much. I'm actually from Nissanclub.com so i'd like to say hello to everyone as well. You guys have a great forum with a bunch of good info. If you guys could help me out i'd appreciate it a lot.

1. She has a 2006 with a JBL audio system....Does this use the same wiring harness for older toyotas and does it bypass the factory amp?

2. Can I maintain my steering wheel controls buy using the PAC interface and does anyone have a wiring diagram for this?

3. Where are you guys finding the speed sensor wire for the nav? This needs to be connect so the D3 knows how fast its going.

Thanks again, i'll post some pics when im done if anyone interested.

1. Not Sure

2. I bought the PAC SWI-PS, and could NOT get it to program correctly. I haven't had much time to monkey with it, but I'm 100% sure I installed everything correctly.

3. See my posts in this thread: http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=32020
