alright guys i some questions reguarding a line out converter. my rear trunk i can see the bottom(magnet) and its speaker wires from looking in the trunk. keep in mind i have the non-navigation premium JBL system, and want adding subs and amp to the stock system.

1) Now can i tap in to the wires from back there?

2) I've been looking around whats the diff with these two channel/ 4 channel Line out Converter(Hi/Lo adaptor)?which would i need? would some cheapo one would work?

3)since im just only tapping into the speakers in the back would i just only need a mono-amp or should i get a 2 or 4 channel now just incase i decide to upgrade my front and rear speakers? whats the diff?

I have a pioneer mono 240watt amp and thinking bout getting this Amp Wire Kit http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7662264&productCategoryId=pcmcat30100050007&type=product&cmp=++&id=1134701342408

That power wire kit will power your pioneer amp just fine.

1.Technically yes you can tap into those wires for your source signal.

2. Line output converters are not all created equal. There is a price point where you get what you pay for. The 2 in 2 out and 4 in 4 out are exactly just that. They convert the speaker lead input into "rca" outputs that your amp will accept.

3.It all depends on what you plan to do. I hate to tell people not to spend the money when deep down they know they will want more sound. I say keep the mono amp. Add a sub. Size is sort of irrelevant. Though the bigger the sub the louder it usually is. Correct box size/ same type of sub of course. I am of course over simplifying .

Remember that you will need some form of remote turn on wire for your amp.
