2006 Nav unit Screen Shading

Looking for sanity check,

I have the E7001 Nav unit in a 06 Solara and I noticed that the background colors (have mine set to green) is shaded light to dark as you go acrosse the screen from the left to the right. I really don't remember it being this way originally, but it may have been. Could someone who has the same unit check theirs to see if they have the same shading?? Again, it really only shows up on the background when only the menu screens are selected.

Thanks in advance.
