Low Priced Navigation for my '06 SLE convertible
I recently bought a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS - about the size of a deck of cards - with a 3.5" touch screen. It fits into the front console area, and is plugged into the 12v outlet in there. Although small, it is quite easy to read, has text to speech (announces street names), and surprisingly gets a great signal from that location. It cost less than $600 shipped - much less than factory nav - and goes on and off with the ignition, but also has a 4-8 hour battery, can easily be moved to my other car, or used while on foot, and is hidden when I close the flap door. It plays MP3s, JPEGs, audiobooks, etc. For an additional $80 or so, the 360 model has bluetooth. Those without factory nav, check it out.
