It all depends on whats included in this system...amp? subs? speakers?

All those are possible to wire to your stock unit but based on my experience I wouldnt recommend it at all. My stock unit would cut off the highs from getting too high.

BTW, make a formal introduction of yourself in the Intro section, so we know who you is!

I have Audiobahn
DUB sound system which I bought it from my friend.
It includes two DUB 10inch Subs
One DUB AMP
and DUB Box.
I really want it to install in my car.
But I just want to know whether or not I could install
the system by myself and my friends.
They said I could hook it up to my stock headunit
but you said its not good so
i guess i have to buy the headunit now

if you are using amp to power only subs, i don't think it would be that much problem.
I used to have amp hooked up to the OEM head unit to power sub, and it was not a big problem.
problem began when i was powering front and rear speakers with the amp.

if you just want base, you can use stock head unit.
you just need high level converter.
it will go between stock HU and amp.
you splice the speaker wire and connect tot he converter, and then to the amp.

converter is really cheap, and probably you can find it for $20 to $30.
however, i still have the converter i was using before.
if you are interested in, i will send it to you just with shipping. probably like $5.00.

let me know if you are interested in.

I had installed it right after i got my car, and had it until i got my new head unit.
i was using with alpine's old 12v amp, with memphis sub.
maybe some audiophile won't agree with me, but for my ear, it sounded good enough. i got base, and it made the sound deeper.

of course, after i swap the head unit, the sound became much better, but at the same time i had installed component speaker in front...
PM me your address, and i will ship it out on monday.
