anyone know if this would be a fuse related problem or loose wire? what happened was the sound was working fine then it stopped working - then it worked again and then it stopped working. this happened on a road trip and i had a cb radio connected to my car also and i noticed that it started working again when i unplugged the cb radio but the next day it stopped working again. thanks for any help

I vote loose wire. If it was a fuse, your head unit would not work either. Speakers draw very little power (unless you have an aftermarket subwoofer) and as far as I know, they don't have a dedicated fuse.

if it is a loose wire...would anyone know where the speaker cables are located and how i would get to them? i already took out the head unit and checked the cables in the back but they were fine.

Is it the JBL system w/amp? I would look to check those wires next. Check both sides of amp, (head unit in and speaker out). If ALL speakers cut out, chances are the loose wire is at dash area.
