PS guys i think this is only for the Gen 2s...at least thats what the pictures look like :)

And as for 1.25 cubes, I dont think it looks it, at least coming from a guy who does FG, ask your guy or do it yourself, fill it with popcorn packing foam, put it in a box, measure the length x width x height / 1728 then let us know how much it is. Not trying to rain on anyones parade but you wanna make sure its really what you say it is when you sell it...

PS, this one i built was 1.75cuft, those are 2 12s

heres some answers for the questions..

how many layers of fg? 8layers

how much? $325 box only no subwoofer, +shipping, or pickup in socal area if there are 5 or more people who want it, he can drop price to $300 +shipping. mods may be done to facilitate a different sub but will cost more depending on the amount of work. otherwise this is for an alpine Type-R 1222D/1242D.

see alpine-usa.com for more details on specs.

what car? Gen 2 only.

size? Unbalancedwood~ Maybe 1.25 is a bit too big but definately more than a 1.0cu ft. this is without sub displacement. unfortuanately I do not have the time to take it apart and everything. but if someone can do the math it makes the right side of the trunk flush... 29" x 10"x 10" high. these are the longest dimensions of each side... LxWxD

Please let me know the amount of interest, if there are enough buyers, it may get cheaper.

When it's designed for a certain sub, does that mean the volume? Or is it the opening size?

its made for the type-r because depth is an issue when trying to squeeze it into the corner. the worse part about the corner is that it is not square and slants downward, which really made it hard to find a hard hitting sub with a reasonable depth.

also i paid about 425 for mine without the sub. so everyone is getting it cheaper at my expense...

Well thats not 'that' bad of a price. Materials for each box will probably run $50-75 its the time/labor that costs so much, not including drying time my box must have taken ~15 hrs, its a lot of work...but it was my first time...
