I'm considering an in-dash NAV for my '08 Convertible.

What is my easiest option?

I've seen the Kenwood with the NAV that looks good, but will it keep the steering wheel contorls and the bluetooth?

I've also seen Eclipse 30D's and 50D's on Ebay. Are they simpler to install and are they "plug and play" or do i have to do alot of modifications?

I'm also still looking for people who have a Garmin Zumo to see if the bluetooth broadcast is compatible with the Solara HU. That way I could have a portable gps and still have it quiet the radio, announce the directions, then let the radio play, just like a phone call.

Thanks for the info...

Really great site!

Kenwood DDX-7019
Kenwood KNA-G510 (Garmin GPS unit for Kenwood)
PAC SWI-JACK (to keep working steering wheel radio control)
Peripheral JTA (<-- got this one) or Scosche TA07SR or Neucleus NC-TA10T (It's to plug an aftermarket HU on the JBL amp instead of by-passing the JBL amp he re-wire EVERY speakers)

Following options that I don't have

Kenwood KCA-iP300V (iPod Video or Nano adapter)
Kenwood KCA-BT100 (Bluetooth Hands-Free Ready)
Kenwood SIR-KEN1 (Sirius Satellite Ready)
Kenwood KTC-HR100TR (HD Radio Ready)
Kenwood KTC-V300N (TV Tuner Ready)

Again the American International K964 trim little gap issue will be solved by tight up the 2 screws that retains it
