No Problem. I've been having to put this together anyways because i'm going to do all my wiring in 1 shot next week. I have to install the indash GPS, remote start, imobolizer bypass, window control module, Impact module, Sirius Radio, and a stearing wheel integration unit. So it's gonna be a fun few hours.

Don't worry, it won't be that hard... just time consuming if you have a bit of wiring knowledge. The front trim is pretty easy (including door panels and entire dash), but the rear trim is more difficult to deal with than the front (the rear deck tray especially is a bitch).

Just take your time and don't force things... Trace out the clips and gently pry. It's all pretty straight forward.

Anyhow, good luck man.

I'm not worried. I was a certified car stereo installer for two years in my spair time inbetween classes. It's just gonna be a pain to run all the wires. On the other side, I think i'm gonna remove the door panels radio trim, seats, and carpeting, so i might take a ton of pictures and post one of the bigest how-to's on here to help people figure it all out.

Sounds good man. I bought my lara new back in April of '04 and ripped it completely apart by the beginning of that May (carpets, seats, dash, all trim, etc...) to install my setup / dynamat everything. I wish I had taken pics along the way, but it's hard for me to keep stopping to snap random shots once I get going (I had to retire the car and rent a car from Enterprise for part of a weekend to get around while I was working on it). I wish there was a tutorial around back then (didn't even have a Chilton's/Haynes cuz the car was too new). :-P

But yeah dude, we're certainly glad to have another knowledgeable audio person aboard. I've been doing this stuff for a bit over 12 years myself and used to compete for a while, but I'm always curious to see other peoples approaches at certain things (always tips/tricks to learn, one never knows it all)...

Take care,

-James

Well it's good to find another installer around. I used to compeate with my camry back before thieves smashed in my windows and stole my crap. Alarm went off, but they were determined. How they made off running with a 100+ pound sub box is beyond me. But yeah i used to do SPL and then i switched to SQL in the last year, rached up like 30+ trophies for the camry (i think there are pics in my www link). But yeah, i'll try to post as many pics as i can, i still have to source a few parts still so i might have to do this in phases.
