Sebas, I got your PM, sorry for the delay. I ran mine straight down the driver side, but I had to drill out a hole for 0/1 gauge and put a gromet in. It's not hard at all, just check both sides of the firewall to make sure there are no vitals in the way.
Otherwise, I've seen several people run their power to the passengers side where there is a rubber stopper already in place that you can slit and run the cable through... If you wanted to keep it on the drivers side using that method you'd have to run it to the passengers side in the engine bay, then back through the dash to the drivers side and run it along the door sill. I don't advise that, as it's an immense waste of cable and has a lot of bends...
Just do the straight shot and drill through the firewall, it's really not too hard (especially if you're running smaller cable than 0/1 gauge).
