What color is the “vehicle speed sensor” and “reverse gear signal” wires on the ECU.

The VSS lead is Purple/White, and I'll check my FSM when I get home and see if I can find the reverse wire.

The manual for my D3 suggested I tap the wire at the actual reverse bulb itself...but thats a heck of a wire run because there is probably a wire at the shift assembly that has what you're looking for so I'll let you know what I find out.

Here's the chart for an I4/AT:

If you have an V6/AT:

The Reverse lead is in the same spot, but the VSS wire is on a different pin, it's E5-17 instead.

No clue on the manuals...

i got it working man thanks i have the v6 and there are a million wires connected to the ecu
