Adding sub to stock JBL

Postby omzig123 » Fri Dec 22, 2006 9:21 am

As a owner of a 2006 sport with factory JBL i am moderatly please with the audio but want more bass.

Ive read the post regarding putting the crossover or adapter to cut the freq to the rear speakers and driving the sub amp.

My question is regarding a powered sub or seperate sub / amp. Any insight to quality or brands?

My plan is to either get an adapter to drive an amp or powered sub in the rear then possible put bass blockers on the fronts and rears.

Are bass blockers paralleled or series connected?

Also any idea of factory power on to start up the amp from the stock head unit.

Am i going totally in the wrong direction???

Thansk
Mike
