D2 is a great unit. The downside is that you will have to make a custom housing for it because noone make a double din sized face for the Solara, but other then that it is a really nice unit. Make sure you don't* ground out the pins on the under side of the unit.

*Doing so would cause you to be able to watch dvd's and plot out GPS point's while in motion, and who wants to do that? :roll:

hey, thanks a lot for your response! I found a double din kit by american something.. and im gettin the unit installed by bestbuy, so im sureee they'll make sure i cant use it in motion =(

Very true which is one of the point's I made to my self in debating installing the Z1 or not. Compared to it nothing will satisfy...

I am debating on getting the z1 myself. Is it worth it? Do you have any pics you can share?

How much the total with installation come out to be?
