Help with newer version map disc for nav unit

I installed a "factory" nav unit that I bought from a guy on the net. It works great. But i'd like to get an updated map DVD. I bought one recently (ebay) but it doesn't work. Are there different map dvd's between the different toyoto models? I'm wondering if i installed a nav unit that was in something other than a solara... The back of the nav unit has markings (86120-33590 468100-0013) and the new (used) nav disc says: North America U30 D Rom 86271-53020 464210-0628 Data ver.05.1. Is there a way to make this disc work, or did I buy the wrong one?
