I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-P780MP with the iPod adapter, although I use the iPod video with mine, I believe all should work. What exactly is the problem? When you connect the iPod to the connector is should display iPod read or somethin like that when you switch sources to the iPod

its weird...like when its connected, the ipod displays a check mark and then says "pioneer" then it appears to be connected on my screen, and the song is playing, but however, there's no music comin from it.. i dunno if the nano's compatible... its weird, bc the guy who did the install said, he heard 4th generation ipods will not work... soooo i dunno if the same applies for the nano...

If you have a video iPod, then it's a 5G.
