its a little pricey.... personally i went with the JIC-FLTA1US from peter. It cost me only 1150 picked up from southern cali and IMO is better than an ebay deal considering its from a forum member. No hassel no problems

I wish they had it for the Gen 2s. How long has these TEIN SS COILOVER been out for the Gen 1s? This way I can try to estimate a time frame of when something like this would be released for the Gen 2s.

November-ish. I'm probably the first install (besides the prototyper). I got mine for 1150 locally... his deal isn't that great

Well...here's the verdict. Below is the email and response that I got from TEIN, it's pretty vagued. Looks like it's gonna be a looooooong time. haha. Might as well get some springs... One thing I can say is that their response time was excellent. It took them about 3 hours to reply.
:D

if the gen 5 camry and gen 2 solara have the same suspension... which it should... then it should fit... rears fit perfectly... the front will need some minor mods.

I think it's up to someone to take the chance to purchase the kit and try and fit it into the gen 2. Like I stongly belive the Greddy Evo catback will also fit the 04 model so as long as it has the o2 bung right after the cat.

I could not find any difference. Just body style.

Like Tein said, they have not even tested so they don't know.

the coilover is factual (what i said) but the exhaust won't fit unless you modify the hangers.

I'd definately try it if I had the money right now. I'm just thinking, you'd probably buy it later. Why not take the risk knowing there's a very good chance it will fit?

Can't you just take it to muffler shop and have them move/make new hangers?
