I read up on things like this before.
I think what happens is you get on a list, and when 50 people get the 5 dollar thing too, you get your unit. However, You gotta be first on the list for that to happen. The second has to wait for the next 50 to buy it. So you may eventually get it, but it may be a while if, say, your #50; youll need to wait for the 2500th guy to buy in to get yours.
Since it says you get it cheap, it may be something more like, 5 bucks upfront, 100 bucks at the website, and when 20 people pay in, you get yours. They still rack in 2000 bucks for the unit. and you (eventually) get the unit for 100 bucks.
And its legal because thier selling information for the website (selling of information is perfectly legal) with the unit as a "prize" of paying in to be on the "list", not as the item to purchase. Usually, they give you some stupid e-books with the sign in to make sure thier legal.
So yea, on one hand its a scam, on the other hand, thier not lying, and its legal.
Im not sure if thats how this one works, but thats the article I read some time ago, and it may be organized like that.
Oh yea, I know how hes going to tell you how to make money online...
