Tentative: Tein SS Coilover Group Buy

Postby Jackass-Jeff » Fri Oct 31, 2003 11:56 pm

I'm just looking for an approximate number of prospective buyers for Tein SS coilovers for the Gen 1 Solara (99-03). My friend knows a rep. from Tein and may be able to get a group buy going if we get enough people.

Edit: I forgot the tentative price... ~1000-1100... MSRP is 1350

No on stayed in on it... so we got ass'd out. Oh well, right? You know most GBs don't go through here... especially when the cost is over 1,000

Plus most of the users are already lowered.

i dont know what everyone does for a living and such but i think its messed up that you assume that many people on the boards are just cheap. when in reality it is likely that they have other fiancial obligations to take care of not just their car and fixing it up. so before you go on and on saying how "cheap" everyone here is. some of these people might own their own house or have families to take care of. If you agree everyone else please say so cuz im sure im not the only one that sees it this way.

It all starts with THEM requesting parts. It then goes on with US creating GBs. Then it moves onto us starting to COLLECT money for the GB. It ends when they all FLAKE.

How about the damn solaraguy sticker orders?1?!?!?!?! Only about 1/2 the people that ordered them went through with it, leaving me with a pile of Solaraguy stickers... luckily other people wanted them and I'm pretty much out of them, but the point is I front cash for FLAKES. You're one of the flakes, so HUSHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm sure those few dollars for stickers wouldn't create a situation like missing a house payment... RIGHT?

Anyone that really want the TEIN SS, PM ME. I'll let you know the current standing on price. No need to discuss it publicly... we get people like HKSJeff instigating it. But the shipping may kill the deal... I think I got it around 1150-1180ish

This is exactly what I've seen since I've been here! If you CAN'T buy a product, don't post and say you will buy one! Easy as that. :-?
