As the title states it... Since I'm moving to Oahu they require it to be mounted on the front of the car. :bad-words:

Or does anyone have or know a aftermarket offset mount???

Get a license plate bracket off eBay for $10-$20 bux my dude. They bolt up under the bumper opposed to on the front of the bumper so you don't see the holes.......or you can do it the ghetto way and zip-tie the plate onto the front bumper.

I think in '99, the Solara didn;t have a bracket, it was screwed directly into the bumper. Then in like '01 they added a bracket.
