GB is now closed. I wanna thank everyone who ordered a kit and hopefully next time all the guys that had to back out can have the funds to be part of the GB. Thanks again for making this happen guys.

Hopefully kits will arrive by friday the 9th. If not, it will be Monday or Tuesday.

I dont know if anyone is interested in a Meth kit from Snow perfomance but i spoke to a rep today and was told we can get a 15% discount on 10 or more orders. I know its a bit costly but i've been doing a lot of thinking involving my setup and the safety of the motor. I cant afford to hurt the motor but i cant help the craving for more hp. The kit is $412.00 but in comparison to the cost of the super charger and or a new motor........ Its not that much. I know some of you guys are running a 5.5psi pulley and want to use, (and are using) 91 pump but its a dangerous game. With the kit, We can use 91 octane without worrying about jacking up the motor. Im saving up for a kit but if we can get enough buyers, we can save $61.80 and the kit will come up to $350 and change. Let me know and i'll post up more info when i get the email from the rep.

I think the rep at Snow will give us a promo code or something and all we have to do is get on the Snow Performance web site and place our orders. But dont quote me on that yet because she hasn't sent me all the info yet. I'll update the post when i get all the info. Yes Frank has a Snow kit on one of his Lara's.

Ok guys i got the email from from Karen at Snow. Heres what she sent me.



Group Buy Policy

1. 2 weeks maximum open period from date started/posted.
2. 15% off list price
3. 10 purchases are needed to get a discount.
4. Two Organized buys are allowed PER YEAR, within the SAME GROUP
5. Orders are called in:
1. Must indicate name of the group
2. Orders held until 10 units sold.
3. If 24 or more kits sold, free kit is offered to group buy organizer
6. Group buys are strictly retail in orientation – they cannot be used towards any dealer/wholesale buy in quantity. No Dealers can organize group buys.
7. Group Buys are limited to one enthusiast group per group buy. For example, only Mustangs on a Mustang buy, VWs on a VW buy, etc.
8. Group buys must be approved by and registered with Snow Performance


She also told me they can cut us some slack as far as giving us an extra week for guys that are trying to get funds together. So i say we got till the end of the month. Hope we can come up with 10 buyers. I think she will still give us the discount even if we dont have 10. She sounds cool. So spread the word guys.

Count me in as a maybe. I definitely want one and fully intend on buying one, but this is just a little sooner than I expected. However when it comes down to it I tend to jump on good deals when they're available (my OBX Headers and fiber glass hood being prime examples) and I'm sure I can run up my credit card bill a bit more Where's the "face palm" emoticon when I need it???

A $60 discount is pretty decent. But if I can find a killer deal on a used one on eBay or somewhere else I may have to go for that.

Like I said, I can possibly swing it. I'll have to look at my priorities and financial situation right now. As it gets closer to the deadline I'll have a better idea.

Doesn't matter what MAF your using you will have to have your car re-tuned after installing the meth regardless.
