FS: 02 loaded TRD Solara SLE SC'd **CANCELLED
*UPDATE 11/04/09* Well, I couldn't do it. I just couldn't spend 28k for a car with 50k miles. The M3 I was looking at is amazing but my Solara still runs perfect and I still enjoy it, so I'll be keeping her probably forever. Now it's time for some upgrades
Hey guys, I just recently found my "affordable" dream car so the Solara needs to go. I'm 90% sure I'm getting an '05 M3 sometime this weekend or next week. I'm listing this here to give SGers a "first dibs" and discount. The car is in awesome condition. Everything works perfect and rides tight. Just passed emissions yesterday with zero problems. I get compliments and asked what kind of car it is quite often. Hard to describe just how clean it is, but it would probably be hard to find one in as good condition. A couple negatives - The rear valve cover gasket will need to be replaced sometime in the next couple months. It's not leaking yet, more of a seep. You can see oil on the side, but it's not dripping. Also, I had a clean carfax when I bought it, but later noticed around the passenger door handle that it had been repainted. I've never had a problem with the door alignment, and it doesn't making any weird noise at highway speed. Other than those two things it's awesome. It currently has 124k miles. Yes, a lot of miles but for the first two years I was driving 65 miles a day on the highway. I've changed the engine oil every 5k miles with Mobil 1 and the transmission every 15k. It's been serviced at the same shop since I bought it with approximately 60k miles. I have almost all the service records for the time I've had it. The shop's printer wasn't working two or three times
I'm not really interested in parting out at this point. I think it's an AWESOME car and would like to see it remain the way it is by someone who'll appreciate it. I'm listing it here for $7000, but later will list on autotrader for $8000. IMO, it's a hell of a car for the money. It's extremely reliable and fun, and I'll be sad to see her go but the M3 is calling my name! Of course this hinges on me getting the M3
I just kinda threw this up so I probably missed something. Any questions, PM me or give me a call. Thanks, Jonathan 480-238-1533
