The stock ypipe is a horrible design. This is a high flow version that replaces it. The stock cat is also seen as a restriction. This ypipe has a straight pipe.

I didnt install this setup , it was on the car when i bought it. Looking under the car the pipe looks cleanly installed, if there was any modifying to be done it must have been done already.

I have one with headers ready to be put on... I just need a highflow cat, hopefully getting one by next week, so I can take this to be installed by next paycheck.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

there are no issues installing this pipe; jack up the car on a lift, take an impact gun to the front and rear header bolts as well as the bolts for the exhaust. Put on the new one with some gaskets, fasten...your done. Should take 15 minutes if you can use a lift.
