this was included in the trd supercharger kit for automatic transmissions.

It hooks onto your ecu ( like a chip )
it cuts boost between shifts to preserve your trans.

EBC

I keep hearing that the EBC is for an auto trans set-up. Do you know why TRD has installation instructions for the EBC for the manual trans? I bought a used SC kit without the EBC because I have a stick. Does the EBC work off of the TPS? If it cuts boost in between shifts through the TPS, then a manual car should run the EBC also. I'll search through the archives for more info also.
