Heye guys,

I'm looking for a JBL 6x9 to replace my blown speaker in a '01 Solara. The dealer wanted $170 ( :o ) so I thought maybe I'd try here first :) . PM me if you've got one available.

Thanks!

Or do a tad bit of extra work and get aftermarket speakers... All you need is to drill a few holes. I heard even the Sony Xplods (a speaker that is usually in the lower ranks) do better than JBL stock, but that's what I heard... I've had 3 out of 4 speakers blow on my car and my Pioneer TS-A6991R does sound more crisp (but then again they're 5-way speakers with Dynamat lol).

However, that's just my 2 cents ever since I started to analyze audio quality on a more strict basis (but then again I didn't do so in the past when I got them; I just focused on the max. output instead of Boston Acoustics)
