Can anyone confirm that non-JBL Gen 1 has the same pattern as the 6.5 speakers here? (4 screw). I took my door panel off once, but I dont remember. I just rememeber the JBL stocks I bought weren't direct fit so I left my non-JBL stocks in there. I dont mind soldering, but I dont like the drilling.

Nick did the seperates fit behind the stock locations so that everything looked stock? If so I might be interested. Can you tell me if they have a comparable sound to some other brand for reference? (Infinity, Diamond, Kenwood, etc)

yes the seperates fit in the stock location, both the mid and tweeter. As far as the quality I think they are they best speakers in my opinon focal may be a little better but its twice as much, its about the same as jl. They will fit and look completely stock but you might want a big amp to push them, they can take a lot. I had a 50x4 on them before.

Nick

PM me if you have any more questions or want more pics
