I heard now for CA smogs, u have to put back the stock exhaust back, can some verify it?

I know they changed the smog machines eff 1/1/04, no longer a stick into the exhaust, now it's acually looks like a dyno machine

Yup, its now just like a dyno, they put your car up on a machine and actually drive it instead of just revving it up like before. I just got sent to the STATE REF again a couple days ago. I'm pretty sure our cars can pass smog with injen instake and exhuast. You just have to have the C.A.R.B. sticker to pass the visual and you should be fine. They had no problems with my injen and greddy.

However, i must warn you that if your car is dropped and you have a kit, your cars not gonna fit on most of the machines. I got 18's and the front of my sideskirt was still scrapping up against the machine so i had him stop cause i didnt wanna F@#$ up my skirt. I've heard some shops have the smog machines in the ground, so I gotta go check it out and hopefully my car can fit !!
