go to rent a wheel and put a down payment on rims, cause for what you'd think is "nice" your price is only a down payment.

Case in point
this is my solara
These are my Enkei 18" PKR Wheels, gloss black with a machined lip

By no means a "nice rim" ( compared to SSR, Work, Volks etc etc ) but absolutely not a crappy no name fall apart wheel either.

I got all four of my wheels for $536 new, without tires.
My Yokohama YK520 Tires cost me another 764 for all 4
This is mounted, balanced, lifetime warranty and locking lugs.

This price, while it isnt a STUPID hook up, is actually pretty decent for these wheels and tires.

So, if I spent 1300, and didn't even get top of the line stuff, I'm not sure where 300 would go.

Your heart is in the right place, but your bank roll isnt. Trust me on this one, save up enough and do it right the first time, or you'll regret it for life.
