But, now days everyone on SG is not crazy to spend that much... So I took my chances and bought mines from Bass. Can't wait to get it on wednesday.

FYI PEEPS this is the BEST Intake for our cars.

It's the best short ram intake, for naturally aspirated applications.

An Injen with true cold air extension + SAFC is still the best route for the s/c guys or higher hp n/a guys. Any cold air extension is going to help drop intake temps significantly and would provide more value than a short ram intake.

You're partially right. For strictly a short ram intake on a n/a, this has proven to be the best gains. For boosted, it is unnecessary since you need an a/f controller anyways + the gains from true cold air would be considerable. My cold air extension has dropped my intake temps, on the scanguage, up to 70 degrees on a warm day.

Congrats on the purchase, let us know how it goes! The ultimate would have been if CP-E made a true cold air kit, then you could say it is the best option, hands down. However, they would have to change their mapping, etc, to get it dialed in.

nope. the 2000+ that have vvti have the dual throttle body setup where the 97-99 avalon (maybe 96 idr) and 97-01, and 97-03 solara have the single throttle body, i'm not sure if this will work on a gen 3 because of the maf. i know an injen from a 97-03 solara won't work unless you block off the maf and move your maf elsewhere (hassle)
are avalons supposed to be this fast?
