FS:New Prices McCulloch HID KITS! starting @ $190 shipped

cklinh wrote:OK, just had something weird happen to me with the McCulloch HID's, wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing...

I was driving in the rain... was pretty sure that both headlights came on when I remote started the car. I was messing with the headlights a bit (turned them off and on once a little after I started driving)... when I got out of the car, one of the headlights was out. I turned the car off and on, and both lights came back on (although at a slightly different color, but it evened out eventually)...

So, has this happened to anyone? Where one or both HID would not come on?

It bothered me a little bit because it was the same side that I was having problems with (krawzyazn, you never did get back to me about those pics of the black gunk on one of the bulbs)...

it happened to me..!!!

Cklinh, maybe it is the way you installed them...

JayDubz, your 06, when you get it, will not have Automatic Headlights... So don't even worry about it....

I'm not surprised if it was :-?

I received the kit without any directions nor the proper connectors (the little black things)...

Did the best I can... I'm not worried about it not coming on anymore, since it only happened once.

BUT, I still want to know about the black mark on the bulb that may or may not have anything to do with the smoke I was seeing before (not anymore). I wanted to get this all straightened out before the 90 day warranty on the bulbs was over... I guess it's too late now. I've emailed krawzyazn since February and still nothing...

Oh, and just curious, --1LOKEDOUTSLE--, what do you mean the 06's won't have automatic headlights? I thought it'd be the same as the 04/05... or did you mean that the DRL's wouldn't impact the HID's at all (since the DRL's use the high beams)?

I drive every few weeks from Erie, Pa to Viginia Beach takes about 7 hours. Usually drive at night. I like the blueish tint to the xeon lights but want then to be bright, Brighter then they aready are. What lights you guys recommend for the Gen2 Solara as well as they replacements work with the stock projector set-up I have now?
